Well when I'm next looking for a car then it might find itself onto the list, I've got a couple of dogs and the hatchback practicality thing is something which I'm going to need. Had thought about an Impreza Wagon with a few go-faster bits, but driven normally it'd do about 15-18mpg!!
...what are these like for reliability once you tune them up? Transmission ok for c350bhp? Engine internals? Any good UK Owners Clubs? ...can't think of any other questions, so I'll probably leave it there buddy.

Yea certainly sounds like it mate, will be giving one of these a wee shot when the time comes to get back out on the road me thinks.
