Nope it's third party only so the bare minimum to be legal on the road, being fully comp does NOT mean you are entitled to the "Third party extension" this is one of the biggest misconceptions.

As I say above there are a whole host of restrictions chief among which is your age, due to the abuse it got 99% of the time you find where offered you have to be 25+ years old. If in any doubt check your insurance certificate as it will stipulate on there whether you have it or not.

Also the owner of the car does NOT have to be fully comp for it to apply, but they do need to have some form of insurance, it really is designed for emergency's etc.
