i have for sale, 2 off MFI type Escort rs turbo engines.

Engine #1: a standard engine, removed from my escort rst in favour of EFI head and and Zetec bottom end. the engine ran fine and had a new distributor cap and rotor arm before the engine was removed. it started to knock a bit and when inspected, it was actually the cam had mushroomed the bottoms of 3 tappets. They where replaced and the knocking stopped. So it MAY have a worn camshaft.

comes as a completen head, bottom end with sump, and inlet manifold. WILL NOT INCLUDE injector (and pipes), bottom pulley, thermostat housing and flywheel. Would be good to cure a damaged bottom end, or head

Engine #2: Was removed from a damaged car which i was in 4 years ago and will vouch for it. It was prepped by Castle Performance and made 220bhp. The bottom end is complete (minus the flywheel) and being in the accident the gearbox broke off and with it, broke a lug off the block...so the block is worth for parts (though still can be used), the sump is bent and is destroyed (but its protecting the crank) and the head is ported and polished and is completely bare (no inlet, no rocker cover or cam etc) but the head alone is worth it if your building it up with good spec!!
