It wasn't intentional and yes lean is dangerous but is was showing no signs of doing anything nasty.

The beiges and Superchips chip from the original build were sold and we put the blues back until the ECU etc could be added but but it was slow as Hell so we popped a 165 chip in and set the boost to what we believed to be 12psi for the rr day. Car showed no signs of any issue on the drive to the rr day (which admittidly was a sedate run as we hadn't had chance to get the fueling etc checked) and it was only once strapped down we found it was running slightly more than we had thought.

Even Chris said he was very surprised at the output. We built the engine properly without cutting corners.
