I was running a 1.9 cvh with stage 3 head, cvh34 cam, beiges, 2wd cossie turbo, cossie fuel pump, 2wd cossie front mount and a custom map by msd.
I left the car with them for a week and they mapped it out on the road and made adjustments etc.
It was running 16 psi when I got it back and they estimated it was around 230bhp. I never had it rolling roaded so couldn't prove/confirm this (felt rapid btw! lol). I raced an evo 6 and he could'nt leave me whatsoever, dunno what spec it was.
Ive always read on here beiges top out around 195/200 bhp.
Oranoco that must've been running massively lean on standard blues at that power? And surely shat itself?
MSD can map your rst to well over 200bhp on frst management if you want but you'd have to upgrade injectors for a start, then the rest of the engine would have to be up to spec to handle the power (steel rods/forged pistons).
You'd need a diff turbo if your on a rst t3, cossie t3 flows better and youd need a good front mount.
It really depends on the spec of your engine with regards to what you'll see from a re-map by them.
They do, do mail order chips where you tell them the spec and send you a chip but with a custom map they will spend more time perfecting the chip to suit your engine.
A custom map is £350
