Ive had a 100 pd, 130 pd and 150pd vag derv engine ..........

By far the best is the 130 out of those 3 thats for sure but there only a nice sounding and smooth engine if they have been serviced properly with the correct oil etc

130 was amazing on fuel compared to the others but they are gutsy in town but they are designed for open road long journeys at end of the day.

pd on wrong oil =££££ down the line

Im now kicking about in a 90 horse tddi focus estate and love it, will get a bluefin for it soon for a bit more power and its pennies to maintain comapred to modern derv, good old school clutch and solid flywheel and not DMF shit. Think the 110 vag is old school clutch and not gay DMF though.

Miss my 130 bora for the drive and power delivery but miss the look of the leon fr i recently sold.

Leon fr should have used the 130 set up and it would have been a nicer usable car rather than just wanting to wheel spin once the power came in.
