Are you sure.Im sure these aux belts a tensioner that you can put a spanner onto to tensioner and take the tension off and remove the belt.My wifes fiesta has a 1.25 16v engine which are similar to the 1.6 16v.I changed the aux belt on her car how i have mentioned above.
I know the tranny vans need a tool to get the aux belt back on.
yes i am sure there are more than 1 engine that is a 1.6 that goes in the focus. not sure how many but the engine he has is exactly like the one that was in my friends car with exactly the same problem. its a yamaha engine i was told.
