1) By cooling system wiring I presume you mean the cooling fans? If so the Escos has a two speed setup opposed to the single speed of the Sierra, for this reason the rad switch has four connections opposed to two. I am not sure on the wiring as don't have Escort but thats part of the car loom.

2) Can't help i am afraid.

3) On the Sierra etc this sensor is located behind the front bumper that operates the two lights (Amber and Red) would not know about the digital display.

4) I would suggest the "Swap Shop, however you need to be a Gold member"

5) You need a decent breather system depending on what state of tune the engines in! On the standard car it comes from the kidney box (Inlet side) and goes back to the airbox.

Yes if the engine has not been run for a while the lifters can be a little noisy, this should settle down after a while, if not you may need a set of lifters, INA are the ones to go for.
