I have been considering what car to buy myself this year. But every time I re-visit the topic the cost of running a car just keeps going up. But conversely the cost of public transport has gone up too! So you can't win either way.

Was at a Honda dealership today and they had the Honda CR-Z and looking at the running costs I was seriously considering it Not fast at all with a 0-60 in 10sec. But 56mpg Combined and road tax at £30 for the year! Can't really complain about that can you. Besides it wont be long I recon before someone finds out how to make it less green

How can we not consider these sorts of cars anymore with the cost of things now
