That wheel style was available in both ET35 and ET40 offsets. iirc the GTi comes with the ET40 offset. ET35 is the best for a mk3 Fiesta so some 5mm spacers may be a worthwhile investment but see how you get on.
there is a lad round here with a lowered red 2i running GTi rims without spacers.
personally id go for the mondeo 16" wheels same as the GTi rims, they look really well on 2i's and fezza turbo's
