early generation 1.6 zetec se with silver aluminium cam cover, says "zetec s" somewhere (might be on the engine cover - not pictured - as oposed to cam cover).

both the above engines are interchangable. one of the guys on here has swaped them in his focus when his original engine died so its been done before.

early generation (silver top) zetec e in 1.6l capacity. also did 1.8 and 2l. late generation zetec e were only 1.8 and 2l with black plastic cam covers. note exhaust and inlet completely different and on opposite sides of engine.
