my 2000 plate Mondy does this too, and you have described the symptons well mate!
mine has 2 x new bottom arms, 2 x new track rod ends and is lowered 40mm, still does it?
CV joints are another problem on mondeos aswell, they can clunk/click and make the car jump when on full lock at low speeds.
