Sounds exactly the same as the problem we had with ours. It ended up being the fuel pump control module under the rear seat on the drivers side. Had an auto electrician with a snap on solus diagnose it and the new part was £65 IIRC. The new part needed to be coded to the car by the auto electrician. I would suggest getting a diagnostic check done.
