we had the same sort of thing when we were down at southend many years ago. Just parked up waiting for friends when shit loads of cars turned up, we were parked a good 500 yards away from the main lot on our own. Police pull up and start issuing out sec 59 and get to us, start swearing telling us we are on CCTV driving round the seafront acting like wankers and they'd do us if we didnt leave straight away. I asked for badge number and name of both officers and told them that if they were to issue me with one my lawyer would be in touch and would request all evidence they had. One officer said they'd arrest me there and then, but they knew and i knew they had nothing so we just sat there until the friends turned up and left which they followed us out of town. Stupid really but like said majority of them now are cunts. Luckily i live out in the sticks and if i see an officer its once in a blue moon.
