As said above, remove the 512 stick and put the 2 gig in it's place. if you feel that the 2 gig isn't enough if your motherboard can handle it slap another 2gig in with it making 4 gig of ram. my old pc ran 3 gig of ram and flew, but the new machine I want will have at least 8 gig of ram in it
