I was hit from behind by a bus whilst riding my motorbike (not my fault), it was written of by my insurance company and they gave it to Copart to sell without even consulting me.

After threatening my insurance company with a theft report to the police they gave me the option of buying the bike back

It came back with over £500 worth of extra damage due to being strapped to a car transporter with no care whatsoever

My advice would be to view in person what you want to buy and arrange your own transport.
