I still need to change the wheel bearing as the noise has got noticeablly louder, it sounds like the noise my old freelander made when the diff was knackered.
This is the replacment part( or so i believe it is the correct one) :

Has anyone ever changed one? basically i just want to know how easy it is to do? im fairly competent with cars and tools, i have a decent 300 piece socket and spanner set, impact sockets, all 3 size ratchets, extensions and breaker bar, the only thing i dont possess is a torque wrench.. is it just a case of wheel off, hub nut off, drum off, bearing out and then reverse procedure to re assemble it?
Got to use the car to ferry 3 people 40 miles somewhere on new year eve then 40 miles back later on, i dont think theyll appreciate ending up in a hedge if i dont fix it..
Thanks
