Hi, I've just put a s2 rst engine in my mk5 escort. Two months off the road and it's still not goin. Im on my second loom and second meetering head, it's got fuel and a strong spark but it wont go. I've used the standard gearbox and starter motor for 1.3 hcs and not sure its upto the job. I've tried a 1.8 zetec, xr2, and 1.6 cvh mk5 escort starter motors but none fit apart from the origanal (makes horrible noise). If anyone has done this or has any ideas I'd be grateful as it's doin my head in now. Cheers![img]
