ok lads , i got away from the little work i had eairly today and well thats the job finished till january


anyway

been busy today

k moved the mk three rear tow eye to suit the new chassis leg location

old hole plated up

and with that i pushed on finishing up the sealer work





k also filled the two small curves on the section where the sierra floor meets the new panel



its where the pass footwell drain plugs were

anyway with all the sealer done it was time to mask up for the stonechip


k masked the tunnel , as this isnt getting chipped ,as per factory



sills were soft edge foamed and tunnell backmasked

time for polymask



and with the tunnel masked and the car blew off , its almost there and ready





turrets masked



the gravitex was sat on the fire to get it nice and warm

that was after the first coat ,


the sealers seemed to have lifted on the edge in a few verry small areas , were putting this down to the sealer been too thin at that point and maybe too much pressure from the gun ,

decided to leave the lot dry overnight , see how it is in the morning and drop the pressure a touch and apply the 2nd coat ,


havent done the front arches yet as theres a few minor jobs to finish,

thiw we may poss primer n paint the floor in two sections , the full rear and tunnel and the front legs and inner wings and new wings
