Got an eml light and found that the code refers to imrc being stuck open.Now i Know this is a common fault with this and am wondering how the system works.Basicly i Need to know if when i start the car the cable should pull the lever on the inlet manifold or should this only happen when the engine is reved to 6k.
Is the flaps open or closed when the engine is switched off?
Going to have a look at the weekend and im just trying to get a handle on how it works so i can see what mine is doing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
