Our gauges use a thermocouple that is capable of reading up to 250 degrees C, and the gauge samples three times every second and has a lifetime warranty (manufacturing defects). At a later date you can even upgrade it to control an ERL water injection kit (or one of our ones) or just an alarm warning to alert you that a particular temp had been breached..
Because of the design of the gauge, if you decide that you no longer need to monitor ACTs, you can switch it's use to fluids (water or oil temps) or with one of our heavy duty thermo-couples EGTs. You can even add additional sensors to it to allow you to switch between things, so you could have one gauge that could be used to do everything

It is also of a perfect size to install it where the dimmer switch is, making it look factory fit
