i have an R&B one too and it is worth every penny over a home made setup or using original equipment sensors, the cost of £50 to keep an eye on things is well worth it, and it's calibrated perfectly.
how does the china made one calibrate with the ford sensors resistance to temperature readings?
also the R&B one samples several times a second, not every couple of seconds.
good on you for having a go, but is it realy worth the saving?
like i said mate it gives me an idea lol and i checked the temp before fitting the ford sensor with the one it came with and checked it against the out side temp sensor on a truck that was in the work shop all 3 read 5.7 degress c
