Right update..

Managed to get the car up and running with a new battery. In normal driving conditions the temp sits between 70/90 on the guage only after a long spell in traffic/stioanry does the gauge move it then moves to 90/95 but once back on the move drops to 80. Rads getting hot all over, and the two heator pipes at the rear are warm but not roasting (you can hold them for a few mins easy).. Im guessing to unblock it its a case of venting either 1 of the 2 valves on the right (look like tyre valves) and hearing the air hiss out?
