Here's my bugeye. Very rare car over here this model and took me ages to find one. It's a JDM STI model wagon, so has the sti engine (with avcs), turbo, intercooler, interior, 6 speed box. Common enough in saloon form but I love my wagons, I had the classic shape wagon before this and looked the whole time I had it for an sti.

Since taken the wheels back to standard

Regarding the wrx model, they are indeed a bargain. I was looking a few weeks back for a bugeye or late classic for my mrs and we found a few decent mileage bug eyes for £3000. The wrx is pretty slow in STD form but they are easy to get some respectable performance from. On a wrx I'd go for (all 2nd hand cheap on scoobynet) vf35 turbo (£250) fuel pump (£70) decat exhaust system (£250) remap (£500) these bits and you'll have 320/330bhp

My sti goes ok standard really, I've got a sports cat downpipe (as I can't be arsed with decats anymore) h&s exhaust (quiet) k&n panel filter. With the avcs on the sti they do go quite nicely.
