I'd replace the relay first of all and if thats not it then look into lambda and catalytic converter. I had issues with fuelling when I had my 2.0 Si. Changed both the lambda, £20 eBay job, and the catalytic converter and the fuelling was spot on

I didnt have any issues with relays clicking or the fuel pump running so would start by replacing the relay
