I have a Escort Cossie Turbo in a Hplate 4x4 pre lambda,

I have got a second hand lambda, and want to wire it up to an air/fuel gauge.

From reading the article Stu wrote, i thought that i would need to have the Lambda run through the ECU for it to work,

Is that the case ?

Or can i run the Lambda to the air fuel gauge with out going via the ECU,

Sorry for any confusion, im not the best at trying to explain what im looking for.
