Supply and demand I'm sorry to say, freight rates ex China are at least double sometimes even 3 times as much as rates from rates from UK to China.

The rates you have are about right I would say, dont forget to add on customs duties and VAT on arrival in the UK as 9 times out of 10 you will get billed.
