So basically am wondering if I can still use the mtx 75 clutch and still use my old slave cylinder ( which is a year old ) on the ib5 transmission.
No chance - the clutch, cover plate and slave cylinders are all different.
You need IB5 ones so best get them cleaned up and back to the factor you bought them from. Hopefully they'll still take them back.
