I did it for a few yrs and it was a blast but i also trashed a few pajero's aswel. Most 4x4 makes have web sites that sort trips out on weekends so make sure you go out as a team that way if the car has problems there is always plenty of help at hand.

Its not easy calling the AA and telling them your in the middle of a lake and it wont start,,,,,,, trust me as i have been there
