2005 transit 2.0 125 bhp tdci problems WHEN STARTING, it normally starts but sometimes takes 5 to 10 seconds to fire and the rev counter does not work, the fuel gauge resets and fuel light comes on, but it starts,
this happens more often from stone cold,
am worried that one day it wont start and i want to fix it now,
dont really want to sell it and stitch someone else up
here a list of bits that its had so far, done by several diffent garages
fuel pump, injectors
alternator
new engine loom
engine removed and wiring checked. all ok
fuel tank drained and inspected
dash parts removed and inspected
this has never had an aftermarket alarm or any wiring mods

could it be the clocks or another electric problem
any advice, any ideas, anyone
