4" gloss rollers - got 10 sleeves, a tray & handle for £8 in wickes, only used 2 sleeves though (1 per coat)
used a 2" brush to get the paint into all the hard to reach areas then rollered over the top to level it out.
there was lots of primer on the car as i had repaired a lot of dents, rust & damaged panels. i rubbed the whole car down with 400 grit wet & dry and panel wiped before painting. you will need to thin the paint down a bit first, white spirit was recommend for the paint i used.
the paint used is called rustoleum, there is a link to the site above. it is best paint i have ever used. i did a test by painting a larger can u few days before i did the car, brushed it onto the can straight out of the recycling bin - no prep, took about 10 hours to be completely dry. crushed the can to see if it would flake or crack but no, it even hard work to scratch it off. the can has been left out in the weather for 3 weeks and the colour is like the day it was painted. im well impressed with it.
