possibly, mate of mine had a wheel bearing replaced at a garage in the passenger front and abs light was always on, tried a new sensor no joy, so we replace the bearing our selves and the light stayed off

place who worked on it suggested be bridge it out behind the dash to get rid of the light........bodgers

this was on a mk3 mondeo but surely same thing?
