thanks for the comments guys, its not perfect but the car is protected over the winter, im going to spray another couple of coats on in the summer.

go for it mate, it took me about 10 hours to strip, mask, sand, panel wipe, 2 coats & rebuild spread over 3 days.
the paint is called rustoleum, i got it from combicolour who import it from the states where hand painting cars is alot more common.

if you use the gloss paint you can colour sand & polish it. i found a site where a guy painted his dodge charger orange, he did 6 coats, wet sanding between coats then a final polish. the finish was amazing, better than you could spray a single stage colour.
