Before i bought a car i was looking at insurance quotes for corsa 1.4i sports, fiesta xr2's etc and they were £1600 to insure
my dads mate had a mk3 xr2i to get rid of so i had that becuase the insurance was low enough. 2 month later the insurance on it suddenely went up to £2000, then it went up to £2500, then £3000 etc etc
so i had to get rid of it and now im semi-restoring a mk1 fiesta 950 and thats still £2000 to insure on price comparison websites. insurance is a killer
