Negetive, diesel boxes are internally the same and therefore are NOT stronger. They do have taller ratios though. An MTX75 (as in mondeo, mk5/6 RS2000, or mk5 TD/XR3i 130) gearbox is, however much stronger. But fitting this box requires many custom parts and a bit of engineering
