strip the carpet out, only real way of getting all the moisture out.
took my Focus carpet a whole day in 26 degree heat to dry out, it must have had 7-8kg of water in it.....it all gets absorbed by the sound deadening, which is has a rubber top layer so you cant use a vacuum to get rid the water content....
had to do the same with both my ERST's on different occasions, seems all fords leak at some point
