Wondered about the sender on mine but since the tossers couldn't
manage to spot a dead injector and fuel distributor, I very much doubt they would have changed the sender to suit the older gauges? wouldn't fit the tank anyway from what I gather.
The temp gauge that packed up way back then was about 5 months old,brand spank from Ford.
If I recall the temp/fuel gauges were about 80 quid and not fitted by them so no warranty?
All my used clocks are defo 90 spec and all the needle/gauge swapping to try and get a working combo is doing them no favours.
