Ive a 2006 mondeo turbo diesel with an intermittent fault.Driving along the motorway the engine will lose power and the Glowplug light on the dash will start flashing.This has happened 3 times in the past 5 weeks or so.The 3 times its happened,Ive put the car in neutral,turned off the engine and restarted it on the key,popped it back in fifth and drove on.Car is fine then.Looked up the owners handbook,but no mention of glowplug light coming on while driving,only the engine management light,which has never come on during these power losses.Any idea's what is acting up every now and again??Thanks in advance.
