My traction control light has been on for some time now and it is not to do with the push button to turn it on or off as I bought a replacement. I have occasionally manged to turn it off if the car has been running a while and turning the ingnition on very slowly but comes on soon after. Is there any way i can turn it off as i dont really need it or can it be a cheap fix?

Any ideas anyone?
