I'm not a penny-pincher by any means, but for the sake of asking the question, I didn't see the point of having it on there if it wasn't needed.
Anyway, I have sorted it now and the answer totally shocked me.
My premium went UP once I removed the commuting aspect!! LOL. So I've left it on there.

i had a quote for £400 for the mondeo WITH commuting
if i took it off it was £600

so i know what you are confused about
