I wouldn't move the arm on the gearbox side of things, im sure it is meant to be in its position for a reason.

Did you need to do the pedal conversion at all? and how similar or different is this puma linkage.

I would check the gears with a normal rs one (providing its an rs) and if the problem is still there id check the cable/pedal travel
