on another note, although the genuine bumper may be stronger in the first place, its a lot harder to repair, with grp you can cut pieces out and rebond/gel patches in to look as good as new. Im guessing the ford bumper is made from abs or pp so once moulded it will be very hard to repair with a strong bond, I would of though only plastic welding of 3m plastic adesive would do? but this would leave an obvious repair which would sort of defeat the idea of having nice original parts.

I have text the kid ronnie so waiting for a reply, if anyone else has some damaged front bumers which fitted well then get in touch
