Fletch that is the ideal situation but it doesnt work like that. Years ago a friend of mine had alot of parts and a car stolen, they found the lad who had the stuff and the police knicked him for it. Then took my mate 16months to get his stuff back and in a worse condition than when it was taken off said robbing cunt!
Sadly the law is not on the side of the victim anymore if you do to them what they have done for you. I would have gone around and got my wheels back, [taking the chance of someone calling the police then explained the situation how they were my wheels and showed them the evidence] then got someone ELSE to sort the little shit out a few weeks later without posting it on the internet what i was doing, so it could not be traced back to me.
