first mistake sadly. I wouldnt have admitted it to the police. then its your word against his for his car and vice versa for your window plus with the theft evidence it will make him look like the looser and no charges on either side. and hence free to get revenge.
whereas now youve been arrested and bailed i suspect your under conditions to keep clear of him, which is a shame.
