zetecs are damn good engines and very tunable. fudgey on here has done a turbo zetec sierra and its running about 450bhp and similar level of torque iirc and i think theres more to come yet so to say its not a worth while conversion is rubbish imho.

if say going from a 1.6 pinto its probably cheaper to go zetec turbo than cossy due to cossy parts being more expensive. not to mention its more upto date engine and is ultimately going to be far more reliable than a cosworth. for instance the zetec uses a coil pack, the cozzy uses a distributor and converting to coil pack poses problems to overcome. you wont get those problems on a zetec engine!

200bhp for 2k is rubbish, when u can pick up a 24v with more power for £200 and it goes straight in.

not saying there not worthwhile as i wish i had the money to go the turbo route.
