if you read any car forum about any car it will acuse it of being unreliable. doesnt matter what tyhe car is....people just post when there are problems.....human nature.
my friend has had a 2001 S3 for 3 years now and it has been faultless, has all the toys, climate xenons etc, goes well considering it had 4wd to sap all the power.
my focus will hand its arse back to it on a plate, but its quite a capable car
so much so, that i bought the same car, (albeit in 150hp form and fwd) in a mk4 golf to use as a runaround.
good cars
