It is the cheapest way of spinning both wheels for straight line traction and drifting, better than a ford lsd that will only transmit some power to the opposite wheel and cheaper than a plated or gripper diff. The downside is that when parking, turning tight corners slowly, the back wheels will skip about a bit. It can also be a bit livley when on a wet road, but then so can a gripper. You will have to take your diff out the casing to weld up the planet gears with a decent mig welder.
