sod it then if the numbers are the same the only way to tell is strip it down and measure it.

will have to have a look into this mustang rear end then, should be plenty of spares, rebuild kits and disk conversion kits availible too then possibly mount to stiffer capri leef springs if they make such a thing. then tweek the ride hight with different shackles if needed as the standard 280 stance is perfect in my eyes.

thanks for the inf mate, this project isnt going to be even started for a year if not two so got plenty of time to research it and source parts. stage one will be finding a good solid base then stripping it down and finding any hidden areas of rot and fixing it up so its in perfect condition to accept the beefy running gear.

any chance a mustang prop shaft will fit?

just gone through some of your other photos of your build, abslutely awsome project well done mate!! that engine is going to be putting out some serious power and torque with that blower on it too, gonna be one seriously quick awsome fun focus 8)
