i didnt realise with an engine change you had to notify the dvla, thought you just had to tell the insurance company as a mod.

also how does it affect the tax and emmisions come mot time? is it based on when the engine was manufactured and therefore the new tax bracket is calculated by enigne size if before march 2001 and emmisions if post march 2001?????
