I got a new key for my old '96 Escort with the V5. I didn't have the tibbe number but still had the red key so I could programme the new one in!
you can read the key number from the old key if you know what your looking for and its not totally worn out,,,,,, but if he had the red key he wouldnt be asking how to get into the car would he numpty
